Enhanced and classic¶
Every fkdr build comes in two versions. Your licence key is set to one of them, and that is the one it downloads and updates to. Both get every release on the same day, and one key can move between them as often as you like.
These are the enhanced docs: every module, including the enhancements tab, player esp, scripts and the script portal. Use the Classic | Enhanced switch at the top of every page to read the other edition's docs.
| enhanced | classic | |
|---|---|---|
| Hypixel, Bed Wars, Anti-sniper, Render, Utility, HUD, tags, social | yes | yes |
| enhancements tab with its six sections, MurdererFinder included | yes | no |
| Render modules | listed under enhancements → screen and cosmetics | a Render tab of their own |
| Scripts and the script portal | yes | no |
| Hitboxes and Outline | settings inside one module, player esp, in the enhancements tab (visual) | two modules of their own under Render, without ThroughWalls and FillThroughWalls |
| NameTags | its own module in the enhancements tab (visual) | no, classic draws the game's own labels, with the overlay X and caution icons inside them |
| A nick over your own head | inside NameTags, under show own | NickHider, its own module under Utility (your own tag only, never through a block) |
Interface → HideEnhancements (hide enhancements) |
yes | not there, nothing to hide |
| AntiCheat flags say how far away the player is | yes | no |
| The overlay X in front of other overlay players | rainbow | ice |
Classic is for players who do not want the enhancements modules on their machine. In classic they are not switched off or hidden: that code is not in the download. Everything else is in both versions, now and in future builds.
Checking your version¶
- The menu's top bar names it, right of the version number.
- The join greeting names it, and
/fkdr edition(also/fkdr version) explains both. HUD → Editionadds it to the watermark. Off by default./overlay versionin Discord says which one your key is set to.
Choosing¶
The first time you redeem a key at fkdr.dev/redeem the page asks which version you want. The fkdr app asks too, every time you install.
Switching¶
The quickest way is the fkdr app: open it, pick Enhanced or Classic, and press Install. It switches your key and installs that version straight away, so the next launch is already on it. See Download & install.
You can also run /overlay version classic or /overlay version enhanced in discord.gg/fkdr (your key must be linked, see Discord and the overlay), or pick the other version on your key page at fkdr.dev/redeem. Then:
- Close the game.
- Open it. The other version downloads in the background; chat says a switch is pending.
- Close it again.
- Relaunch. The top bar now names the new version.
It takes two launches for the same reason an update does: the first gets the new version, the second runs it. Switching back before step 4 cancels the pending switch. Whichever way you switch, it applies to the key, so every computer on that key moves to the new version. On Forge the steps are the same.
Your settings survive a switch in both directions. Classic keeps the saved values of settings it does not have, so going back to enhanced restores ThroughWalls and the rest as you left them.
