Scripts tab

The Scripts category holds every JavaScript file and every Java script (.java) in your scripts folder, and every compiled .jar extension. Each loaded script is its own module in the tab's Installed view, with its own switch, keybind and settings. A broken script is painted red with its error.

Installed

The Easy Mode button at the top of the tab opens the block editor (also /fkdr script easy).

A script runs when that script is switched on, from its row or with /fkdr script on <name>. There is no switch for the whole script system.

fkdr installs no scripts. The folder holds only what you put there or install from Discover.

Script host switches

These are commands rather than settings, and they are kept for next time. With no on/off the command prints the current value.

command default description
/fkdr script debug [on|off] off Show each script's chat.debug output.
/fkdr script compiled [on|off] off A faster mode for scripts that do heavy work every frame. If it ever fails, fkdr goes back to the normal mode by itself.
/fkdr script extensions [on|off] off Load .jar extensions on the next start. They are not sandboxed; only for jars you trust.

The Scripts tab is also the script portal, where scripts are shared, rated and commented on: see Social & script portal. Commands: /fkdr script …, listed on the command reference. Writing a script starts at the scripting introduction.
