Discord

Support happens in discord.gg/fkdr. That is also where keys are managed with /key and where new builds are announced.

Before you ask

Most problems are one of these. Check them in order.

1. Are you on the current build? The chat greeting when you join a server prints the build you are running and whether it is the latest. fkdr updates itself on Lunar and Forge; an update needs two restarts to apply (on Forge, quit normally in between). See Licence & updates.
2. Is the licence working? /fkdr licence shows where it stands. If it says fkdr.dev could not be reached, there is nothing to fix. See Licence & updates.
3. Run the diagnostic for the thing that is wrong. Every part of fkdr has one: /fkdr ping, /fkdr stats, /fkdr threat, /fkdr hitboxes, /fkdr outline, /fkdr rush, /fkdr timers, /fkdr tags, /fkdr tab, /fkdr urchin, /fkdr script hooks. Each one says what is working and why something is not showing. The diagnostics page explains the output.
4. Scripts: /fkdr script errors reprints the last error for every script. A script named after a built-in module is refused on purpose; rename it.

Common questions

Chat says I am unlicensed but I have a key

If chat says Link your Discord to use fkdr, your key is not linked yet: join discord.gg/fkdr and run /key link with your licence key (or the link code from your key page on fkdr.dev). If you lost your key, open a support ticket in the Discord.

Otherwise run /fkdr licence. If fkdr.dev is down or busy, that shows as a network problem: it is not a problem with your key, and it clears by itself. If the key is turned down with "already set up on N other devices", every device slot is taken: your licence belongs to your computer, each key includes 1 slot, and a second computer takes another. Free a device on your key page at fkdr.dev/redeem or with /key unbind in the Discord. That works twice per key, after which you open a ticket in the Discord and ask for a reset. The menu does not open

The default bind is - (the - key). Type /fkdr in chat to open the menu whatever the bind is, and /fkdr bind <KEY> to change it.

Hitboxes, Outline, nametags or another render feature draws nothing

Run the matching diagnostic first. /fkdr hitboxes and /fkdr outline each say why they are or are not drawing. Paste the whole output in your report.

Stats show for nobody

/fkdr stats goes through every step stats take. In a lobby full of nicks, no_data (no stats for that name) is the right answer, not a fault.

I updated on Lunar and nothing changed

A new build takes two restarts. Restart once more; the greeting in chat confirms the build.

Forge says a new version is out

It installs itself as you close the game, so quit normally and the next launch runs the new build. If the game is killed instead, it installs at the next normal close.

Can I get a refund?

You can get a refund within 14 days of your payment going through, as long as fkdr hasn't been downloaded with your key. Once it's been downloaded, the purchase is final. Open a ticket in the Discord with the last four characters of your key; the money goes back the way you paid. See the refund policy.

Can I share my copy?

No. Keys caught shared or resold are switched off for good with no refund, and the Discord accounts involved are banned. A friend who wants fkdr can get a key of their own.
